Solar / PV Systems Design only course - for non-electricians

This course will provide non electricians with the qualifications allowing them to obtain accreditation from the Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) granting access to incentives offered by the Federal Government for the design of grid-connect photovoltaic systems.

This course provides the skills to understand site surveys, energy audits and design of grid-connected photovoltaic systems and the associated equipment.

This course is for non-licenced electricians who are looking to obtain accreditation from the Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA)

This course provides the skills to understand site surveys, energy audits and the associated equipment.

This course comprises the following nationally accredited units of competencies:

• • UEERE0051 Apply electrical principles to renewable energy design.
• • UEERE0054 Conduct site survey for grid-connected photovoltaic and battery storage systems.
• • UEERE0061 Design grid-connected photovoltaic power supply systems.

There are no prerequisites, including NO requirement to be an electrician or hold any sort of electrical qualification, to do this course.
