Working at Heights Awareness

Training Gate's Working at Heights awareness course addresses the major issues about hazards encountered when working at heights, as identified in the Model Code of Practice – Managing the Risk of Falls at Workplaces.

This course provides the basic knowledge designed to assist people who are working with people who required to work at heights. This course covers the hazards associated with working at heights, and the operation of basic height safety equipment as well of cover other necessary information about working at heights.

This awareness course is helpful as an overview of the work health and safety requirements associated with working at heights. It is not the equivalent of a Working at Heights Licence. It is not an accredited course; however, it does provide the theory and underpinning knowledge for working at heights safely. On completion of this course you will be issued with a Statement of Completion.
This course is useful to individuals who:

• need to understand the basic principles and safety issues relating to working at heights
• are involved with assigning work to people who need to work at heights
• provide support to people on the job site who need to work at heights.
• wish to refresh their knowledge on the requirements for working at heights.

• ensure your support stave have the appropriate knowledge on the requirements of staff who do need to work at heights.
• assists you to keep your staff safe

3. Equipment
