Battery Installation Accreditation Pathway
Required for SAA accreditation for grid-connected battery install work.
This course will also provide electricians with the qualifications allowing them to apply for accreditation from the Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA), granting access to incentives offered by the Federal Government for the installations of grid-connected battery systems.
This course provides the skills to understand site surveys, install, set up, test, fault find grid-connected battery storage systems and the associated equipment.
The SAA states, that this accreditation type is only available as an ‘additional accreditation type’ to an existing GCPV Design & Installation accreditation (i.e. not as a first accreditation). Note prerequisite units are required.
This course is for licenced electricians who are looking to obtain accreditation from the Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) for the installation of grid-connected battery systems.

It is a requirement that to undertake this course, you MUST already hold a current unrestricted electrical licence issued in an Australian state or territory.
