This course will also provide electricians and electrical engineers with the qualifications allowing them to obtain accreditation from the Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA), granting access to incentives offered by the Federal Government for the design of grid-connect photovoltaic systems.

This course provides the skills to understand site surveys, energy audits, and design of grid-connected photovoltaic systems.
It also covers how to protect persons and property from the dangers of malfunctions and ensuring the safety, performance and functional standards are met.

This course is for licenced electricians and electrical engineers who are looking to obtain accreditation from the Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA). If you are NOT a licenced electrician, please completed the Grid-connect Solar design only - for the general public course. This course is designed for people who require a flexible learning environment which allows them to balance their personal and work commitments while completing the course. You will also be accessing Australia's best and most up to date learning materials, while being supported by your own trainer.

This course comprises the following nationally accredited units of competencies:

• • UEERE0054 Conduct site survey for grid-connected photovoltaic and battery storage systems.
• • UEERE0061 Design grid-connected photovoltaic power supply systems.

It is a requirement that to undertake this course, you MUST already hold a current unrestricted electrical licence issued in an Australian state or territory.
