This course will also provide electricians and electrical engineers with the qualifications allowing them to obtain accreditation from the Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA), granting access to incentives offered by the Federal Government for grid-connect photovoltaic systems and grid-connected battery storage systems.

This course provides the skills to understand site surveys, energy audits, design, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain grid-connected photovoltaic systems, battery storage systems and the associated equipment.

This course is for licenced electricians and electrical engineers who are looking to obtain accreditation from the Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA)

This course provides the skills to understand site surveys, energy audits, design, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain grid-connected battery storage systems and the associated equipment.

This course comprises the following nationally accredited units of competencies:

• • UEERE0054 Conduct site survey for grid-connected photovoltaic and battery storage systems.
• • UEERE0060Design grid-connected battery storage systems.
• • UEERE0077 Install battery storage equipment power conversion equipment to grid
• • UEERE0078 Install battery storage to power conversion equipment.
• • UEERE0080 Install photovoltaic power conversion equipment to grid
• • UEERE0081 Install photovoltaic systems to power conversion equipment .

NOTE:
This course has a mandatory prerequisite unit, UEERE0061 Design grid-connected photovoltaic power supply systems, to be completed.

If you have completed a solar battery course since 2023, you may have already completed this unit.

In this case, we will ask for your Statement of Attainment / certificates confirming that you have completed this unit.

If you have not done the unit UEERE0061 Design grid-connected photovoltaic power supply systems previously, you will need to complete the unit as part of the course. There maybe an additional fee for the completion of this units.

It is a requirement that to undertake this course, you MUST already hold a current unrestricted electrical licence issued in an Australian state or territory.
