This meets the training component of the Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) requirements for grid-connect Solar / PV Design and Install accreditation.

Training Gate's Grid Connected Photovoltaic Systems Design & Install course consists of two main components, Theory and Practical.

The theory is designed for busy electricians and electrical contractors who do not have the time to attend lengthy face-to-face courses.

The practical assessments are completed either on the job or in one of our classroom session.

You are welcome to talk to us about which method to complete the practical aspects suits you the best.

This course comprises the following nationally accredited units of competencies:

• • UEERE0054 Conduct site survey for grid-connected photovoltaic and battery storage systems.
• • UEERE0061 Design grid-connected photovoltaic power supply systems.
• • UEERE0080 Install photovoltaic power conversion equipment to grid.
• • UEERE0081 Install photovoltaic systems to power conversion equipment .

NOTE: This course has a mandatory prerequisite unit, UEERE0061 Design grid-connected photovoltaic power supply systems, to be completed.

If you have completed a solar battery course since 2023, you hay have already completed this.

In this case, we will ask for your Statement of Attainment / certificates confirming that you have completed this unit.

If you have not done the unit UEERE0061 Design grid-connected photovoltaic power supply systems previously, you will need to complete the unit as part of the course. There is an additional fee for the completion of this units.
